Julie Chen Moonves will host the reality series that is a huge hit in summer, Big Brother. The show returns to CBS on 5 August for its second season. Chen Moonves has been an integral part of The Talk since 2010, where she was moderator as well as host. She was a writer before becoming host. Her desire was to write. It actually earned her an Emmy. Hosting an outstanding entertainment talk show won her an additional Emmy. Her experience in the news industry made her a natural for the switch from The Talk, which examines topical events and contemporary topics through the eyes of five female hosts.Chen Moonves was co-host for CBS News' weekday morning show The Early Show from 2002 until 2010. Chen Moonves has also worked at the network's New York City station WCBS as a reporter anchor, as well as a producer (1997-1999). Prior to entering CBS News at the beginning of 1995 Chen Moonves had been an anchor and reporter for WDTN TV Dayton. Before joining CBS News Chen Moonves worked as a reporter at WDTN-TV dayton (1995-1997). In addition, she worked for ABC NewsOne from 1992-1995.
